FCO Travel Advice for - Uzbekistan

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advise against all but essential travel to areas of Uzbekistan bordering Afghanistan.

Take care in areas bordering Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan's borders are potential flashpoints and uncontrolled border areas may be land-mined. Borders are subject to closure without notice. See Local travel.
