    • The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all travel to the city of Tripoli and to Palestinian refugee camps. The FCO advise against all but essential travel to the Bekaa valley, to within 5km of the Syrian border, to the southern city of Saida, and to areas south of the Litani river.     • There is a high threat from Terrorism. There were violent clashes in October 2012 following the assassination of the chief of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces.
